How should I prepare for my fridge/freezer cleaning?
To help us give you the best and fastest service, we kindly ask that you empty your fridge before our team arrives. We highly recommend running down your fridge and freezer contents in the days leading up to your booking!
What if I don’t have time to defrost my freezer beforehand?
No problem at all that’s what we are here for! If you’d prefer us to handle the defrosting, just let us know when booking. We will bring along professional cool boxes and ice packs to keep your food completely safe and chilled while our advanced dry-steam technology melts away the ice in minutes.
Do you need access to water?
Yes, please! Our team will just need access to a standard sink with warm running water to rinse down parts and top up our steam equipment.
Will you bring your own cleaning equipment and products?
Yes, absolutely! We arrive fully equipped with everything needed for the job, including our specialist dry-steam machines and premium, non-toxic, eco-friendly products. You don’t need to supply a thing.
How much does a deep clean cost?
Our cleaning services start from £40, though we do have a minimum visit charge of £80. Because every job is unique, we recommend getting a free, personalised quote in advance! You can easily do this via our online form or over the phone. Sending over a couple of quick photos of your appliance helps us give you the most accurate price.
How long does the deep clean take?
Because every appliance is a little different, the time can vary based on its size, how much ice buildup there is, and how much deep cleaning it needs. As a general guide, we usually recommend allowing about 1 hour per appliance.
What should I do with the empty cool boxes after you leave?
Once your appliance is back up to temperature and you’ve safely popped your food back inside, you can leave our empty cool boxes and ice packs in a safe, dry spot outside your home (like a porch or driveway). We will swing back by to collect them later that same day!
How do I pay for the service?
We make things as hassle-free as possible. Once the job is completely finished to your satisfaction, we will send over an invoice. We happily accept bank transfers, cash, or cheques.
How often should I have my fridge and freezer deep cleaned?
To keep your kitchen perfectly hygienic, eliminate bacteria, and keep your appliances running at peak efficiency (which lowers your energy bills!), we suggest booking a professional deep clean every 3 to 6 months.
